Welcome to a seamless CPD journey taken in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University. This site focuses on professionals looking to undertake part-time study with the postgraduate Professional Development Programme (PDP), which offers continuing professional development opportunities to teachers, professionals in the early years sector and professionals in the wider children’s workforce. A particularly successful strand of the PDP, the professional learning in the workplace (PLW) modules, which is mirrored in the new undergraduate provision.

This site also offers information for professionals involved in children’s services and work in the fields of education studies and early childhood studies. Part-time programmes draw upon the expertise of strong staff teams, including team members with significant experience in the two key areas of education and early years at undergraduate level. Staff in this team also have expertise with social work and health professional backgrounds who lead on health and social care as well as multi-professional themes within the teaching.
